Media Servers
Media Servers are devices that store movies, music, photos, and other types of entertainment. In many cases, your DVD's & CD's are stored ("ripped") onto the hard drive(s) of the device. Media Servers range from ordinary modified computers to DVD changers to high-end audio/video components.
